The England national team announced its first squad under new manager Thomas Tuchel ahead of two World Cup qualfying matches to close the month against Albania on Mar. 21 and then Latvia on Mar. 24.

West Ham star forward Jarrod Bowen is one of 26 players named to the first-team squad, wnile starts will be hard for him to come by, Bowen should be a key weapon off the bench as a proven left-footed right winger in the Premier League, and with Bukayo Saka injured, his chances of playing should increase. Plus, Bowen can slot in as a backup striker for Harry Kane, as needed.

So when Bowen does start for England, here's how he could fit the first-team formation.

GK Jordan Pickford

The undisputed starter in goal, Jordan Pickford has come up big time and time again between the sticks for the England national team over the years.

LB Levi Colwill

England don't have a true left back in the first-team squad that would comfortably play at the internatioanl level, but Levi Colwill is a great defender who is versatile enough to start in this position.

Former West Ham star Declan Rice is an easy target for criticism, which was the case at the Euros last summer, but he is one of the best in his role in the Premier League and in all of European football.

CM Jude Bellingham

No matter where Jude Bellingham starts, he is England's best player and has risen to such heights since joining Real Madrid that there's a legitimate case to be made that Jude is the world's best player right now - certainly, he is the most complete.

AM Cole Palmer

Putting Jude in a box-to-box role allows Cole Palmer to play in behind Harry Kane as the playmaker, and with his goal-scoring output and creativity, any attacking quartet with Palmer at the base is a dangerous one.

LW Anthony Gordon

Phil Foden is snubbed, since, as a left-footer, he's not ideal to isolate on the left wing, and, indeed, he was quite poor in this role at the Euros. Anthony Gordon is highly underrated and looks like a potential star for England.

ST Harry Kane

Harry Kane starting is about as certain as death or taxes. He is the best striker on this planet, and if Erling Haaland had any say in the matter, the 2024/25 season has clearly swung the pendulum in the Bayern Munich man's direction.
