Antonio Conte also among candidates for Roma’s bench | OneFootball

The latest name to be linked with Roma’s long-term head coach position ahead of next season belongs to Napoli’s current manager.

The future of the Roma bench is still a puzzle and the protagonists of the choice are two: Florent Ghisolfi and Claudio Ranieri.

The two members of Roma’s management, writes today’s edition of Il Messaggero, are evaluating different profiles, but the vision is not necessarily the same.

While on the one hand Ghisolfi has publicly expressed appreciation for young emerging coaches such as Fabregas, Farioli and Palladino, on the other Ranieri has a very specific idea: his favorite is Antonio Conte.

There is a bond between the two made of esteem and friendship, and Ranieri considers the Napoli coach the ideal profile to bring Roma back to the top.

The problem, however, is that Conte is currently tied to Napoli and, unless there is a definitive break with De Laurentiis, it seems difficult that he will be able to free himself in the summer.
