Arsenal booked their place in the Champions League quarter-finals by sealing a 9-3 aggregate win over PSV Eindhoven at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night.
Building a on thumping first leg week eight days earlier, the Gunners prevailed overall, despite a 2-2 draw in this second leg, with the widest margin of victory at this stage of the competition.
Oleksandr Zinchenko opened the scoring on the night, respectfully declining to celebrate a fine goal owing to a season he spent on loan at PSV almost a decade ago. Ex-Tottenham Hotspur veteran Ivan Perisic pulled one back for the Dutch visitors, before Declan Rice put Arsenal back ahead.
Couhaib Driouech drew PSV level a second time with the goal of the game, chipping the ball over David Raya after the Gunners were punished for a sloppy giveaway in midfield.
