Arsenal have announced that Meadow Park will host upcoming UEFA Women's Champions League match against Bayern Munich due to scheduling conflict with the men's team.

The club came under fire earlier this month after revealing they'd been forced to move their group stage fixture on 18 December away from Emirates Stadium, in favour of the men's team who drew Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup quarter-final.

After ongoing talks with UEFA, it's understood they've granted special dispensation for the match to be played at Arsenal's previous home, given the unique combination of factors that required a new location.

Supporters who have already purchased tickets will automatically receive a full refund and a 24-hour priority access window to purchase new ones.

This window will open at 14:00 GMT on 26 November, with tickets available on a first-come, first-served basis. Fans have also been offered a "gesture of goodwill" from the club, that includes a complimentary ticket for a future WSL match at the Emirates this season, or a £20 retail voucher that can be redeemed at The Armoury or on Arsenal Direct.

In a statement released by Arsenal, they said: "We thank members of our supporter groups throughout this time who offered valuable feedback which was reflected in our dialogue with UEFA. We also thank UEFA for their collaboration to find a workable outcome."

Interim head coach Renee Slegers had previously described the circumstances as a "hard dilemma", and a "bump in the road" for the club's wider women's football strategy. Ahead of the 2024/25 WSL campaign they announced that the Emirates would become the new main home for their women's team.

At the time, they confirmed the stadium would host at least eight WSL games and at least three Champions League fixtures.
