Arsenal are in contact with Manchester United target Mathys Tel’s camp to convince the player to join them in the winter window, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.

The 19-year-old winger is the centre of transfer attraction in the ongoing window with several clubs hovering over him to secure his signature.

Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur agreed to a deal with Bayern Munich, but the youngster rejected a move.

Manchester United are also keen on signing the talented winger and have approached the Bavarian giants to take him on loan.

The Red Devils have been in contact with Tel’s camp to convince him to join them.

Now it has been claimed that Manchester United’s Premier League rivals Arsenal have also established contact with Tel’s side.

Mikel Arteta is keen on adding a forward and is an admirer of the 19-year-old’s talents.

It has been suggested that Tel’s camp are currently assessing all the offers they have received for the winger.

Manchester United have sanctioned a departure for Marcus Rashford to Aston Villa and they are pushing to bring Tel to Old Trafford.
