Atlético Madrid star Ángel Correa has this week tipped his side to get the better of arch rivals Real Madrid.

The headline fixture of the upcoming La Liga weekend is of course set to play out at the Santiago Bernabéu, on Saturday night.

The matchup in question will see Carlo Ancelotti’s Real play host to Atlético, in the latest edition of the Madrid Derby.

The clash marks an absolutely crucial one when it comes to the title race in Spain’s top-flight, with the former boasting a slender one-point advantage over their city rivals atop the table.

A victory for Atlético tomorrow evening could in turn mark a turning point in the battle for supremacy in La Liga.

And one individual of the opinion that such an outcome will indeed be forthcoming upon the full-time whistle sounding at the Bernabéu is the aforementioned Ángel Correa.

Speaking to the media in the buildup to the derby, in quotes gathered by Diario AS, attacker Correa explained:

“For us, all games are important, but we know that if we win this derby it will give us a lot of strength for the rest of La Liga. I say we win 2-0!”
