Barcelona star equals goal tally for all of last season | OneFootball

A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona has now managed as many goals this season as he did in the entirety of the 2023/24 campaign.

The player in question? Ferran Torres.

Frontman Ferran of course added to his tally for the term once more on Saturday night.

Introduced off the bench late in Barcelona’s La Liga meeting with Las Palmas, the Spanish international capped off the scoring in Gran Canaria, courtesy of a brilliant left-footed finish off the underside of the crossbar.

As much built yet further upon what has been a fine season for Ferran, who, despite his backup status and injury issues, has delivered time and time again when called upon.

All told, the former Manchester City man has now found the net 11 times in 2024/25.

This is the same tally that Ferran notched in the entirety of last season, with several months of the current campaign, of course, still to play.
