Barcelona star Lamine Yamal was beaten to top spot in the list of the Champions League league phase’s best dribblers by a long-time Blaugrana transfer target.

The player in question? Rafael Leão.

The final round of fixtures in the newly-formatted league state in Europe’s premiere competition were of course played to completion on Wednesday night.

As much has since given rise to a whole host of noteworthy statistics, surrounding the Champions League’s standout performers.

And, as alluded to above, amongst them is a stat highlighting the game’s very best dribblers.

As revealed by statisticians WhoScored, AC Milan winger Rafael Leão racked up the most successful dribbles in the Champions League’s league phase, with 30.

Tied in the runners-up spot, meanwhile, are a trio of players, namely Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa), Lamine Yamal (Barcelona) and Kevin (Shakhtar Donetsk), with 26 apiece.

And rounding out the top-5 is RB Salzburg’s Oscar Gloukh, with 24.
