Manchester United have reportedly secured the services of Bendito Mantato with a contract valid until June 2029.
The 17-year-old is widely considered amongst the most talented players in the club’s youth sector. He has been a regular feature for the club’s U18 side this season, while also making appearances for the U21 as well.
All in all, the winger has made 20 appearances across all competitions this term, contributing with an impressive tally of 10 goals and four assists.

In recent days, Mantato was tipped to make an appearance with the first team, following in the footsteps of fellow wonderkids like Chido Obi-Martin and Harry Amass, but Ruben Amorim has yet to hand him his senior bow.
Nevertheless, the England native has time on his side, as he’s expected to pen a long-term deal with the Reds.
According to CentreDevils, Mantato and United will put pen to paper on Wednesday. This would be the youngster’s first professional contract, and it will tie him to the club until 2029.
This news comes just a few days removed from Fabrizio Romano’s update on the situation. The Italian journalist confirmed that the two parties have indeed reached an agreement to extend their collaboration.
Centre Devils also expects Mantato to make an appearance for the senior squad sooner rather than later. The final three rounds of the Premier League could be an inviting opportunity, as Amorim would want to preserve his key players for the Europa League final.
The Red Devils have already one foot in the grand finale in Bilbao after beating Athletic Club by three unanswered goals in the first leg of the semi-final, but they still have to finish the job at Old Trafford.
