Brendan confirms sensational Kieran Tierney Celtic return | OneFootball

Brendan Rodgers has confirmed the signing of Kieran Tierney from Arsenal on a pre-contract agreement. The fullback, who left Celtic in 2019, will join in the summer on a permanent basis. The Scottish Champions are chasing Tierney on a loan deal for the remaining of the 2024/25 season.

Speaking ahead of Celtic’s UEFA Champions League meeting with Aston Villa, Rodgers confirmed that Tierney would be returning with a deal having been agreed.

Celtic will be hoping to sign the player on a loan deal until the end of the season with Arsenal covering his wages until his contract expires. Thereafter, Celtic will sign the player as a free agent this summer.

Celtic have allowed Alex Valle to return to Barcelona ahead of a proposed move to Como. The Spaniard has made 19 appearances for the club this season, helping Celtic to win the League Cup and qualify for the next stage of the UCL.
