Brentford grab all three points at the City Ground

Brentford earned all three points away to Nottingham Forest to leave Nuno Espírito Santo's team in sixth place in the Premier League.

At some points during the season, it looked like Forest were a shoe-in for a top four finish but with Newcastle United, Manchester City, and Chelsea all putting their foot on the grass that dream looks like less of a reality, especially after this evening's home loss.

Forest were always second best at home to the Bees who took the lead just before the break. Nathan Collins sent in a long ball over the top that Kevin Schade brought down and finished past Mats Sels.

The home side struggled to deal with another long ball for Brentford's second.

This one was even more route one football as Mark Flekken sent up a long ball that the Forest defence couldn't deal with allowing Yoane Wissa to find his way through and make it 2-0.

That goal was deserved for the visitors who were the better of the two teams with the Bees still in with a chance for European football next season.
