Cagliari coach Davide Nicola spoke at a press conference on the eve of the match at the Olimpico against Roma.

“Since mister Ranieri arrived, Roma changed gear and is fighting for other objectives,” he said.

“In Europe they had a tough opponent, Roma also has quality and anyone can make mistakes, even champions like Hummels. We will play in an important stadium and against a top-level team.”

“It’s not easy to find fault with this Roma, there are quality players, they know how to move on the pitch.”

“We have to be good at adapting to their playing style,” he added.

“For me it was an important opportunity to come here and work at Cagliari. We play with a precise idea that is different from the one proposed by Ranieri.”
