Carlo Ancelotti reserves special praise for Arda Güler after Real Madrid’s win over Leganés | OneFootball

Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has moved to make clear his appreciation for the latest efforts of midfield starlet Arda Güler.

This comes owing to his performance in Real’s La Liga meeting with Leganés.

Youngster Güler was for his part in from the off on Saturday night, as Los Blancos kicked their campaign back into gear on the back of the international break.

And, en route to an eventual 3-2 victory over Leganés, the Turkish international enjoyed a solid 90 minutes.

Though Güler did not manage to chip in with a direct goal contribution, his link-up play and passing were of an impressive standard throughout.

Amid what has proven a challenging campaign for the 20-year-old to date in Spain’s capital, boss Carlo Ancelotti was therefore quick to heap praise on Güler post-match.

Speaking to the media in his press conference at the Santiago Bernabéu, Real Madrid’s headmaster gushed:

“Arda Güler showed his potential, his great ball control.He reads the game brilliantly and I’m happy with his impact.”
