After beating arch-rivals Manchester City, Manchester United lost to Tottenham Hotspur. If that wasn’t enough, their latest 3-0 defeat by the hands of Bournemouth makes things worse. It seems like they haven’t found a working XI yet.
The Red Devils will next lock horns with Wolves in the Premier League this week. They will be desperate to prove themselves on the field and return to the winning ways. Ruben Amorim will be under pressure to deliver and showcase improvements with his men.
Defence
Andre Onana didn’t have much impact on the previous game and he surely needs to get better with his distribution skills. Leny Yoro is likely to return into the backline at the expense of Harry Maguire.
While Lisandro Martinez continues in the three-man backline, Matthijs de Ligt is expected to get the green light after having recovered from illness.

Midfield
Noussair Mazraoui should be used on the right wing, sending Tyrell Malacia back to the bench. However, Diogo Dalot continues to operate on the other flank.
Kobbie Mainoo is struggling with the form and he might have to make way for Casemiro. The Brazilian midfielder will have the company of Manuel Ugarte in the middle of the park.
Attack
Amad Diallo and Bruno Fernandes are again pairing up as the attacking options in the starting lineup. However, as Joshua Zirkzee failed to impress yet again, Rasmus Hojlund is expected to take up the striker duties.
Ruben Amorim will also have to decide whether to bring Marcus Rashford back into the squad or not. Even if he returns, he is unlikely to find himself in the starting lineup.
Luke Shaw, Victor Lindelöf, and Mason Mount are unavailable for this fixture due to injuries.
