Celtic are due to face Dundee this afternoon as Brendan Rodgers’ side return to domestic duty. The Scottish Champions secured their place in the UEFA Champions League knockouts with a midweek win over Young Boys.

The game is currently set to go ahead but Celtic have confirmed that they will assess storm damage from Storm Éowyn on Saturday morning before updating the fans as to whether the game will go ahead.

Team News

The major news this week has been that Kyogo Furuhashi is set to depart after three-and-a-half successful years at the club. The Japanese striker flew to France on Thursday ahead of a £10m move to Rennes. However, Celtic could soon unveil the signing of Jota as Brendan looks to strengthen his attacking options with the return of the Superstar from Portugal.

Kasper Schmeichel signed a contract extension during the week and the Dane made some important saves as Celtic secured qualification. He will start in goals.

In defence, expect Brendan to continue with the back four. The Irishman may look at giving Cameron Carter-Vickers and Alistair Johnston a rest given the volume of games they’ve played but he will also be wary of the attacking threat from Dundee.

Expect Alistair Johnston and Greg Taylor to continue at fullback with CCV and Auston Trusty at the back.

In midfield, you would expect Brendan to go with Callum McGregor, Luke McCowan and Paulo Bernardo – as he did at Dens.

In attack, Adam Idah will likely start through the middle with Daizen Maeda and Nicolas Kühn on the wings.

Referee Details

The SFA have confirmed Colin Steven as the referee for the game.

Steven will be assisted by Jonathan Bell and Alistair Mather with Peter Stuart acting as Fourth Official.

Meanwhile at Clydesdale House, Alan Muir is on VAR with Andrew McWilliam assisting.

This will be Colin Steven’s second time officiating a Celtic match this season; he previously refereed Celtic’s 2-0 victory over Hearts in September 2024.

Kick Off Time

The game is scheduled to kick-off at 3pm (Celtic Park Time).

Where to Watch

The game will be available on Celtic TV for subscribers outside of Britain and Ireland. Although, there will likely be a number of fans unable to attend due to Storm Éowyn.
