Chelsea will feel like they dropped more points at home to Nottingham Forest yesterday as the visitors held out for a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge.

It was a game of attack vs defence most of it, but the reality is that Forest could have just as easily came away as winners as Chelsea could have. Robert Sanchez had to make a string of top saves to keep Chelsea in it.

Noni Madueke grabbed Chelsea’s equaliser at a time when they really needed it, but they could not go on to find the decisive second goal and ended up very frustrated not to win.

The Blues winger was a real threat all game but once again his final third contributions and decision making was a bit off, and the stats show that too in my opinion.

Who Scored have reported that Madueke had a total of 20 touches in the opposition box against Nottingham Forest yesterday, the most by a player in a single Premier League match this season.

I know this is reported as though it’s supposed to be positive, but I see it as negative unfortunately. He took 20 touches in their box but we only scored 1 goal, to me that means we must have been super wasteful if our biggest attacking threat on the day managed to touch the ball 20 times in their box yet we only scored 1 goal.

That is just how I see it anyway. I’d be impressed if he took 20 touches and scored a hat trick and set up another!
