Deportivo La Coruna have a gem in 22-year-old talent Yeremay Hernandez. First making his inroads into the consciousness of European scouts last season in Primera RFEF, Yeremay has been a standout in Segunda since Depor won promotion.

An array of clubs are interested in taking Yeremay off Deportivo’s hands, and Chelsea are one of the sides that have made an offer for him. The Blues are willing to pay €10m plus bonuses for Yeremay, and also exchange one of their academy talents for his thrilling talents. However Deportivo Sporting Director has publicly remarked that ‘we are clear, he only goes if they pay the clause,’ report Marca. His clause is believed to be €20m.

Chelsea would then loan him to RC Strasbourg in France, but the likes of AC Milan, Newcastle United and Manchester City are also interested. Las Palmas have also been keen to bring him back to the Canary Islands, but may find themselves muscled out.

This season Yeremay has 8 goals and 3 assists for Deportivo in 18 appearances, testament to his key contributions in the final third for the promoted giants. The Galician side are keeping their head above water, four points and two spots above the relegation zone in Segunda, and would have hoped to hang onto him for the rest of the season.
