Chelsea face Wolves at Stamford Bridge in just under an hour, and the teams are in!
As injuries and fatigue set in, there are a number of changes for Chelsea, both in the lineup and on the bench.
In goal, Robert Sanchez keeps his place. After that, there are changes all over.
Reece James starts at right back – his first league start since November. That’s potentially a huge turning point in the season.
In defence, Josh Acheampong drops out and Tosin Adarabioyo comes in to replace him. Levi Colwill’s fitness issues mentioned by Enzo Maresca are clearly pretty bad, as he isn’t in the squad at all. Trevoh Chalobah has returned from his loan and comes straight back into the team, as predicted.
At left back, Marc Cucurella keeps his place. He’s the one constant in an otherwise fully changed backline. That’s worrying, although we do trust all of them individually.
In midfield there are changes too. The ever present Moises Caicedo keeps his place, but Enzo Fernandez isn’t fit, so there’s a rare start for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall replacing him. Cole Palmer plays his usual free role ahead of them.
In the front line, Jadon Sancho drops to the bench so that Pedro Neto can play on the left, with Noni Madueke on the right. Nicolas Jackson – who needs a goal – leads the line.
Here are the full team line-ups for Chelsea vs Wolves (kick off at 20:00 GMT)
Chelsea team to play Wolves.
Just when Maresca really needs a result, he’s been forced into a lot of changes here. Playing at home with a lot of attacking firepower we should be able to get the job done, but this midfield has to be a worry. James and Cucurella will need to show all their experience at full back to make sure we get a result.
