Blues set to change almost entire lineup from the FA Cup win over Morecambe
Chelsea have Noni Madueke, Reece James and Romeo Lavia in contention as they seek to return to winning ways in the Premier League against Bournemouth on Tuesday night.
The Blues have not won in four league games, but did thrash League Two side Morecambe in the FA Cup on Saturday afternoon.
Lavia and James both made their returns from hamstring injuries in that game, playing 45 minutes, and Enzo Maresca confirmed that the pair each came through their comebacks unscathed.
“We are very happy for both,” Maresca said. “They played 45 minutes the other day and now they are available for the next games.
“As I said since we've started, we are going to try and manage them both because they are a bit delicate situations."
Madueke, meanwhile, missed out on the squad through illness, but Maresca says the winger is now “100 per cent fit”.
Marecsa made 10 changes to his side against Morecambe and will likely make a similar number when the Cherries come to Stamford Bridge, with the possibility that youngster Josh Acheampong could get another start at centre-back.
Predicted Chelsea XI: Sanchez; Gusto, Acheampong, Colwill, Cucurella; Fernandez, Caicedo; Neto, Palmer, Sancho; Jackson
