Enzo Maresca has a number of selection decisions to make as Chelsea travel to face Djurgarden in the first leg of their Conference League semi-final tie tonight.

The Blues are red-hot favourites to reach next month’s final in Wroclaw but Maresca is juggling twin priorities as his side seek to secure a top-five finish in the Premier League and a return to the Champions League next term.

Newly-crowned champions Liverpool visit Stamford Bridge on Sunday and Maresca may prioritise that fixture, but sprung a surprise earlier this month when naming a strong side for the quarter-final second leg against Legia Warsaw, even with Chelsea 3-0 up at the midway point of the tie.

Chelsea are without Robert Sanchez and Christopher Nkunku for the trip after both players were left in London nursing knocks.

Despite making his return to the starting XI in the 1-0 win over Everton on Saturday, Romeo Lavia is ineligible having been left out of Chelsea’s European squad at the start of the campaign.

Wesley Fofana and Marc Guiu remain out injured, while youngsters Ted Curd, Reggie Walsh and Shim Mheuka have been included in the travelling squad.

Tyrique George is likely to get another opportunity from the start, while Nicolas Jackson could lead the line after ending his goal drought against the Toffees.

Predicted Chelsea XI: Jorgensen; Acheampong, Tosin, Badiashile, Cucurella; Dewsbury-Hall, James; Sancho, Palmer, George; Jackson

Injured: Sanchez, Nkunku, Gusto, Fofana, Guiu, Kellyman
