Confirmed: Real Madrid sign youngster Alexander Chobanov | OneFootball

La Liga giants Real Madrid have this week added to the club’s youth system, by way of the signing of an up-and-coming midfielder.

The player in question? Alexander Chobanov.

Chobanov, for his part, is a 13-year-old midfield starlet, who has long been making a name for himself on the books of another La Liga outfit, in Osasuna.

The starlet is understood to have piqued the attentions of a number of Spanish football’s leading clubs with his performances this season.

And as alluded to above, on Tuesday, one such club have tied up a deal for his signature.

As per a report from Blancos insider Javier Rodríguez Pascual of Relevo:

‘Real Madrid have signed Alexander Chobanov (2012) for their youth system. Osasuna midfielder.’

Diario de Navarra, meanwhile, are credited with first breaking the news of Chobanov’s imminent move to Spain’s capital. The transfer is expected to be made official any day now.
