Curva Sud bash Milan players after ‘obscene’ defeat against Torino: “Shame!” | OneFootball

Yesterday’s game ended in yet another misstep for AC Milan, losing 2-1 against Torino, and the ultras Curva Sud made their voices heard after the game. Publishing a statement on their Instagram, they bashed the Rossoneri players.

Things went sideways early on for Sergio Conceicao’s men as Mike Maignan gifted a goal to the home side, booting the ball straight at Malick Thiaw and into the back of the net. An equaliser was found through Tijjani Reijnders, but then the winner was conceded immediately.

On their Instagram, the Curva Sud published a story after the defeat and bashed the players, some of which don’t deserve to wear the shirt. Indeed, a response was expected after the recent disappointments but instead, it got worse.

“After Zagreb, after Rotterdam, after the elimination, after all this, today we should have seen a Milan with foam at the mouth… And instead we got another obscene defeat, the result of a non-existent club with no planning, the result of mistakes that are not even seen in the oratory, the result of many players who do not deserve to wear a shirt like ours, not even in the dressing rooms of the Milan Store. Shame!” the statement read.

Bologna are up next for Milan, namely the rescheduled game, and a win is a must to keep the top-four hopes alive. Without one, the Rossoneri can wave goodbye to the Champions League.
