Amidst the turmoil, one player, Dejan Kulusevski, has found himself at the centre of attention.

But it's not just for his on-field performances—it's also due to a chant from Spurs supporters that has gained significant traction.

Kulusevski, who has been one of Tottenham’s most consistent performers this season, was asked to speak to the media ahead of their Europa League clash with Elfsborg.

During the press conference, which also featured manager Ange Postecoglou, Kulusevski offered insight into the current atmosphere at the club and his thoughts on the growing pressure around the team and its leadership.

One of the more notable topics raised during the press conference was the chant from Tottenham supporters heard during the recent match against Everton.

The chant, which echoed from the away fans, featured a line that read: "I don’t care about Levy, he don’t care about me, all I care about, is Kulusevski…”

When Football London asked about the chant, Kulusevski kept his response humble and focused on his role as a player, avoiding any involvement in the club's politics.

"I'm just playing. I'm just playing football. If they see what I give, everything I give, if they appreciate it, it's even better. I'm happy that I'm getting love from them. That's it." he said.

The chant was a direct expression of discontent from Spurs fans towards Levy and the club’s management.

As tensions continue to rise, many supporters are voicing their frustrations over the club’s perceived lack of progress and the decisions made by the board.

A growing discontent among Tottenham fans

The anger from Tottenham fans is not new. In fact, the Everton match wasn’t the first instance where Daniel Levy’s leadership came under fire.

Similar chants calling for Levy’s removal have been heard at other fixtures, including a 'Levy out' chant during Tottenham’s midweek game against Leicester City.

Many are frustrated by the club’s inconsistent performances and the decisions that have been made at the top.

While Kulusevski is grateful for the support, the focus remains on his performances and his role within the team as Tottenham seeks to achieve its goals under Postecoglou's watchful eye.

This situation reminds us of the growing disconnect between the club’s hierarchy and its supporters, who are demanding more from those in charge.
