Liverpool faced off against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium earlier this evening as they looked to earn a victory on their travels in the Premier League. The Reds made a dominant start to the game but were unable to make the decisive breakthrough. Arne Slot’s men went into the half-time break with a goalless scoreline.
Trent Alexander-Arnold came off the bench and smashed in the match-winner in the 76th minute as Liverpool secured a narrow 1-0 win away from home.
Let’s take a look at how each Liverpool player fared during the clash against the Foxes.
GK: Alisson Becker – 6.5/10
Alisson didn’t have a save to make in the game and earned an easy clean sheet this evening.
RB: Conor Bradley – 7/10
He was a positive influence at both ends of the field and made some driving runs with the ball.
CB: Ibrahima Konate – 7.5/10
The French defender cleared his lines when needed and was a threat at the other end of the field.
CB: Virgil Van Dijk – 7.5/10
Van Dijk kept things solid on the defensive end of the pitch and was good on the ball.

LB: Kostas Tsimikas – 7.5/10
He performed his defensive duties well and had a decent game in the opponent’s half.
CM: Alexis Mac Allister – 7.5/10
Mac Allister controlled the game well from the middle of the park but never looked like he would score.
CM: Ryan Gravenberch – 7.5/10
He offered solid protection for his teammates at the back.
RW: Mohamed Salah – 7/10
Salah was a constant menace in the final third and did everything but score this evening.
CAM: Dominik Szoboszlai – 7/10
He caught the eye at times in the Leicester half but failed to register a goal.
LW: Cody Gakpo – 7/10
Gakpo caused some headaches for his marker but was replaced in the 59th minute.
ST: Luis Diaz – 8/10
He caused a lot of problems for the opposition defenders and managed to create some inviting chances for others around him.

He was unfortunate to hit the post.
CM: Harvey Elliott – 6.5/10
Elliott made one good chance in the final third.
