Tuta (25) has established himself as a leading Bundesliga defender and has become an integral member of Eintracht Frankfurt’s squad, but has been linked with Turkish outfit Fenerbahçe.
Kicker cites reports from Turkey suggesting that Fenerbahçe have signalled interest in signing Tuta, who has 18 months remaining on his current deal.
Speaking after Eintracht’s 4-1 win against Freiburg on Tuesday, Markus Krösche said: “I don’t know what is being reported from Turkey. I don’t concern myself with that.”
He was then questioned whether there was an enquiry in the Brazilian defender, to which Krösche replied: “It’s nothing that I can announce here in any way.”
Eintracht Frankfurt head coach Dino Toppmöller was also asked about Tuta’s future.
“I was also surprised when I read that,” said the 44-year-old. “I don’t know if there is any truth to it. Tuta feels totally comfortable with us and is a very important player. There is no point in selling him.”
Tuta has played 166 games across all competitions since his €1.8m move from Sao Paulo in January 2019.
