Joaquin Correa impressed with a sharp display from the bench for Inter Milan in yesterday’s 3-2 Serie A comeback win over Monza.
Today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, praise the Argentine international for his performance.
Inter Milan forward Joaquin Correa came off the bench yesterday evening.
The 30-year-old had reportedly been the main candidate to start the match in attack. However, Marko Arnautovic was the player who got the nod ahead of him.
Meanwhile, Correa only came on when he did due to the circumstances of the match. Piotr Zielinski came on as a substitute, but then picked up a calf problem right away.
Whatever the reason for Correa’s appearance, he did have his impact.
The former Lazio and Sevilla forward did not score or assists a goal. However, he did just about everything but.

Joaquin Correa had to work hard for the team. Not long after his arrival on the pitch, Inter scored the winner.
But the Argentine did exactly what he needed to do. He worked hard and was able to get his team up the pitch as Monza attempted to score an improbable late equalizer.
Rather than playing purely as a forward. Correa had to help out with the dirty work in midfield, And he managed to do exactly that.
