Matheus Cunha has been a standout performer for Wolverhampton Wanderers, demonstrating his versatility in various attacking roles, including as an attacking midfielder, supporting striker, and center-forward.
Fichajes reported on Saturday that Cunha’s impressive displays have caught the eye of top European clubs, with Manchester United and PSG both making formal inquiries. The two clubs are said to be prepared to offer around €80 million to secure the Brazilian’s services.
Cunha’s recent performances, particularly a stunning “Olympic goal” against Manchester United that gave Wolves a 1-0 lead, have further highlighted his attacking capabilities and could see his market value rise significantly.

In his GIVEMESPORT newsletter, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Arsenal have been monitoring Matheus Cunha’s development for some time, well before his recent standout performances at Wolves.
However, Romano noted that there has been no official contact between the two clubs as of now, with Wolves determined to retain the former Atletico Madrid forward until at least the summer.
“Arsenal have been tracking Cunha’s progress even before his recent excellent form, but no club-to-club contact has been made so far, and Wolves insist on their intention to keep Cunha until June,” Romano wrote. “Let’s see what happens, based on eventual proposals.”
