Nottingham Forest's poor end-of-season form continued after only managing a 2-2 draw with relegated Leicester City at the City Ground.
Nuno Espírito Santo's side went into this game just one win in their last six games in all competitions but would have surely felt like facing the Foxes would help them return to winning ways.
However, it was the visitors who took the lead early on when a long throw in wasn't dealt with by Forest. The ball came out to Bilal El Khannouss who struck firmly from the outside of the area forcing Matz Sels into a save with Conor Coady heading in on the rebound.
Forest equalised just under ten minutes later from a set-piece with Anthony Elanga whipping in a free-kick from the right that Morgan Gibbs-White was on hand to head in.
The home side then took the lead in the 56th minute. Gibbs-White this time was the provider with a cross from deep that Chris Wood headed past Jakub Stolarczyk.
There was still one more twist in this game when Facundo Buonanotte popped up with an 81st-minute equaliser.
The Argentinian picked up the ball from Jamie Vardy, ghosted past a Forest defender, and then finished to earn his side a point on the road.
That result leaves Forest seventh in the Premier League with their Champions League hopes currently out of their hands.
