Rasmus Hojlund, Alejandro Garnacho and Bruno Fernandes got on the scoresheet, but another Manchester United produced a spectacular action on the other end of the pitch.
The Red Devils are heading towards a comfortable victory over their hosts Leicester City thanks to goals from Hojlund and Garnacho who managed to end their respective goal droughts, in addition to Bruno’s almost customary contribution.
The Dane broke the deadlock in the first half with a clinical finish with his weaker right foot, while the Argentine winger aimed at the close corner and managed to beat a shaky Mads Hermansen. The Portuguese captain then put the exclamation mark with a lovely first-time finish late in the match.
However, the Foxes would have certainly grabbed one back if it wasn’t for a superb action from Matthijs de Ligt.

Victor Lindelof was dispossessed by Jamie Vardy who launched a swift attack towards Andre Onana’s goal. The savvy veteran fed his teammate Buonanotte who had the goal at his mercy.
The Argentinian youngster tried to slot a powerful low drive past the Cameroonian goalkeeper, but a sensational sliding tackle from De Ligt prevented the ball from heading goalwards and thus maintaining the team’s clean sheet.
BBC Sport pundit Clinton Morrison was certainly impressed by the Dutch defender, even though he argued Buonanotte should have done better.
“That is a great chance. He has got to score. It’s great defending from De Ligt but he has got to score. It’s brilliant play from Jamie Vardy – he has been Leicester’s best player and he finds Buonanotte who has to score.”
For their part, Sky Sport described the defender’s action as monstrous.
“Leicester looked destined to score there as Vardy squared to Bounanotte. But De Ligt produced a monstrous block to keep out his effort! The Man Utd defence are desperate to maintain their clean sheet.”
The only blemish of the evening for Man Utd fans was the unfortunate injury to Ayden Heaven who was enjoying another impressive display at the back.
