FOUR-GOAL VICTORY OVER UDINESE

AC Milan
·4 mai 2025
AC Milan Primavera continued their play-off push with a resounding 4–0 win over Udinese on matchday 36. At the PUMA House of Football, Federico Guidi’s side - seventh in the table before the match - swept aside their already relegated opponents to secure three crucial points. Despite having the likes of Longoni, Bakoune and Ibrahimović missing, the Rossoneri had little trouble today and, boosted by the returns of Comotto from suspension and Magni from Milan Futuro, showed solidity and determination. Pittarella once again started between the sticks following his solid performance away to Lazio.
In a stop-start first half, AC Milan began the game strongly but couldn’t quite put it to bed. In the second half, it was attack after attack. The Rossoneri stepped up the tempo, completely dominated and had over 20 shots on goal. Christian Comotto was decisive, bagging a brace and putting in the performance of a true leader: he pressed constantly, made recoveries and displayed real quality in the final third. Sala and Perrucci also got on the scoresheet. Thanks to today’s result - it also finished this way in the reverse fixture - AC Milan have risen to sixth place ahead of Hellas Verona’s match against Cesena. The play-off race is really heating up: our next fixture will see us visit Torino, who are already safe from relegation, while the Gialloblù are scheduled to face Juventus. It promises to be intense until the last matchday.

MATCH REPORT AC Milan Primavera made an ideal start, taking the lead in the second minute: Bonomi hits the post, but Emanuele Sala was there to make it 1-0 on the follow-up. The Rossoneri were very much on top in the early stages and came close to adding a second through Sala, who had been picked out by Liberali. With Udinese struggling to muster a response, Magni wasted a good opportunity after being found by Perrucci. In the 32nd minute, the Friulani lost Cosentino to an ankle injury. A minute later, Mosca denied Bonomi after a scramble from a corner. A lot of stoppages slowed down the match, but AC Milan maintained control and went into half-time ahead.
The second half started with another enforced change for Udinese, with Sebastiani coming on between the sticks. In the 53rd minute, Comotto fired powerfully towards goal from the edge of the box, but the young goalkeeper was in place to save. Shortly afterwards, Bonomi almost scored with a curling effort before Sebastiani foiled Magni. The second goal arrived in the 61st minute: Liberali let fly, Sebastiani failed to hold it and Perrucci found the net. Two minutes later, Christian Comotto made it 3-0 with an individual effort. With 66 minutes on the click, Comotto scored his second of the day, heading home Ossola’s cross. Only in the closing stages did Udinese threaten, with Pittarella thwarting Landolfo. It finished 4-0.
