GdS: ‘One-off Milan’ – Inter draw creates contrasting view once again

It has been an up-and-down season for AC Milan, which has opened many questions about the future. One of the biggest ones to emerge has been about what team the Rossoneri are, and the Inter game showed some signs.
For far too long, Milan have been a team of contrasts. There have been a number of impressive performances in big games in recent seasons, especially this year, but they have often been overshadowed by poor results in other big games, or worse yet, in smaller games.
This has led to questions about several things in the team, with the biggest question being about the mentalities of the squad. Unfortunately, more often than not, it has been a case of them having a poor mindset.
However, there are games where we can see this not being true. As Gazzetta dello Sport write, the club have won in big moments against Real Madrid, Juventus and Inter this season, but they have almost always been sidelined by poor results immediately after.
In the first leg against the Nerazzurri on Wednesday night, they once again proved that they are more than capable of pulling off the big results. However, it now falls back on the issue of continuity; this weekend against Fiorentina, there is a chance to prove themselves, and if European football is to be achieved, it must be taken.
