In the wake of Bayern Munich's 2-1 first-leg win over UEFA Champions League play-off opponents Celtic, Harry Kane spoke to TNT Sports.
The English marksman discussed the Bavarian club's performance in detail, where in short he described it as just about satisfactory.
"Yeah it was okay. I think whenever you win a game like this you can always been pleased because it's not an easy place to come.
"There was plenty of areas in the game where we could have done better and need to improve on for next week.
"Overall we scored at the right times; just before and after half-time. Obviously it's a shame to concede a goal but it put us under pressure towards the end so we had to stay strong.
"We did that well and we're happy to take the lead back to our home (Allianz Arena) next week," said the 31-year-old.
Bayern's top goal-scorer in all competitions went on to credit the Celtic fans who created an intimidating atmosphere on the night.
"We knew it (the atmosphere) would give them a bit of momentum at the start of the game. They scored after a minute or so, so that obviously helped it but it got disallowed.
"We had to be patient and we knew we would probably have more of the ball and possession around their box.
"In the end it was a good through ball from Upa and a great finish from Michael (Olise). Sometimes you need a bit that bit of special quality to open things up.
"Then we came out in the second-half with that same intensity and got that second goal.
"We had control of the game but once they scored they put us under pressure and we found it difficult to keep the ball. But this is the Champions League and there will be tough moments in each game," Kane concluded.
Bayern Munich must now turn their attention to the Bundesliga and Saturday's season defining top-spiel against Bayer Leverkusen. Vincent Kompany's team will then face Celtic again next Tuesday in the second-leg at the Allianz Arena.
