Heung-min Son has issued a rallying cry for his Tottenham team-mates ahead of the Europa League final, insisting: "I believe we can do this."
Spurs warmed up for their trip to Bilbao next week this another Premier League defeat, their 21st of the season, as they went down 2-0 at Aston Villa. At the same time, Manchester United, Spurs' opponents next week, lost to Chelsea.
Son on Friday night made his first start since the 1-1 draw with Eintract Frankfurt in the Europa League quarter-final first leg, and is now expected to start game.
"I'm feeling good, a little bit tired, obviously, first game back to play, but I feel good and I'm ready to go," he told the club's media channels.
"It was really good to get a game time in my legs and, look, I think the most important thing is that everybody gets fit for Wednesday. I'll be ready for Wednesday.
"It's been very, very tough to watch and not be involved with the boys. It's one of the tough moments when you're not involved and not actually there.
Wednesday will be the biggest day of my life. It was will great, we’ll be excited and I hope we can make history

"I was very happy to see the boys smiling and then happy and celebrating [when reaching the fina], which is that they deserve. And still, the job is not finished. So Wednesday we still have a massive, massive job to do it so, and I feel, and I believe, we can do this."
He added to BBC Sport: “Wednesday will be the biggest day of my life. It was will great, we’ll be excited and I hope we can make history.”
Spurs lined up a 4-4-2 shape at times against Villa, and both frustrated their opponents and also created a number of openings, largely through Son down the left.
It remains to be seen if the game was a trial run by manager Ange Postecoglou for a similar setup against United, but Son was pleased with the results.
He continued: "Before we conceded the goal, I think we changed a little bit our game plan. But I think it seems like we did very well ... the commitment, the hard work, the effort was there, which is so, so important.
"Our objective is to get a result on Wednesday. So everybody together, with one goal."
