Football League World takes a deep dive into Yuki Ohashi's estimated earnings at Blackburn Rovers

Yuki Ohashi became Blackburn Rovers' second signing of the summer transfer window when he arrived from Japanese top-flight outfit Safreece Hiroshima.

Akin to the likes of Makhtar Gueye and Balasz Toth, Ohashi represented something of an unknown quantity upon his arrival in English football, as Blackburn adopted a more widely-encompassing approach to recruitment by exploring underserved foreign markets.

Ohashi was the second signing in the window as John Eustace proceeded to add ten players to his squad in total, with the later arrivals of Todd Cantwell and Brighton and Hove Albion loanee Amario Cozier-Durberry appearing arguably the most impressive.

It's Ohashi we're looking at here though, as Football League World takes a fresh dive into the striker's estimated earnings and just how much he will pocket if he sees out the entirety of the three-year contract he penned to join Blackburn at the end of July.

Yuki Ohashi's estimated Blackburn Rovers salary

Player salaries are not officially published online by clubs. Instead, we've decided to consult Capology, a site which provides estimated salary figures.

According to Capology, Ohashi is earning a weekly wage of £15,000 at Ewood Park. This makes him Blackburn's fourth-highest earner as per Capology figures, which list Todd Cantwell as the best-paid player at the club with an estimated weekly salary of £30,000.

That shouldn't really come as too much of a surprise, of course, given the pedigree of the former Norwich City and Rangers playmaker.

Ohashi is earning exactly the same amount as two of his teammates in Harry Pickering and Arnor Sigurdsson, who are both also believed to be collecting £15,000 per week. Rather surprisingly, Capology has listed Blackburn's lowest earner as Tyrhys Dolan, who is estimated to be on just £577 weekly.

However, one would imagine that figure isn't completely accurate, as Dolan is also a key player in Eustace's attack.

Ohashi's estimated weekly salary translates to an annual salary of £780,000, which certainly isn't bad going. Given that he's on a three year contract, his total earnings at Blackburn - should he see out that deal in full, of course - come to a rather significant figure well in the millions.

Yuki Ohashi's total estimated earnings at Blackburn Rovers

In line with Ohashi's estimated weekly and annual earnings, Capology has listed that the 28-year-old's contract is worth £2,340,000 in total.

That's providing he stays for the duration of his contract, but given he only joined the club back in the summer, it's unlikely Ohashi is going to be planning on jumping ship anytime soon.

Ohashi, who celebrated his 28th birthday just three days before officially signing for Rovers, will be 30 by the time his contract runs down, unless Blackburn extend it within that time.

Ohashi is currently at a prime age, which means Blackburn will want to see the very best of him throughout the remainder of the season and heading into the next.

He hasn't got to worry about the end of his contract just yet, of course, although he'll need to bring the level of performance which was exhibited at the very start of the season to convince Blackburn to keep him on at that age when the time comes.
