Manchester United host Athletic Club on Thursday night in the second leg of their Europa League semi-final, leading 3-0 in the tie.

United put in arguably their best performance under Ruben Amorim to win in Spain last week but the Red Devils boss has warned his players that the job is not done.

United boss Ruben Amorim says his side could be the worst team in Premier League history to win a European title.

“In the end of the season, we can be the worst team in Premier League history with a European title,” he said.

“So we will not change anything. We know that this season was disappointing.

“I still feel that this season was the worst in the last 50 years.”

Athletic boss Ernesto Valverde on his side’s injury problems: “I am focusing on those players that are going to be doing a job for us tomorrow,” Valverde said.

“There’s no point thinking about the ones who aren’t here. We know we’ve got some key injuries, but it’s about the ones who are on the field.

“It’s not going to be easy. We know it’s tough because the result is pretty much against us. We also know how high quality our opponents are and their stadium, but this is football. Anything can happen.”
