A number of players returning from injury will give Inter Milan a new lease on life in the wingback positions against Udinese and AC Milan.
This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews.
Prior to the international break, Inter Milan had a full-blown injury crisis in the wide areas.
All of Federico Dimarco, Matteo Darmian, and Nicola Zalewski missed Inter’s Serie A clash with Atalanta before the break.
Meanwhile, Carlos Augusto had also missed several matches with a calf problem.
That left Inter with almost no options on the flanks.
The international break has given the likes of Dimarco, Darmian, and Zalewski the chance to return to fitness, however.
There is a piece of bad news for Inter. Denzel Dumfries will be on the sidelines for a few matches due to an injury of his own.

Therefore, Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi will not have a full complement on the flanks.
But the situation looks radically different than it did just a few weeks ago.
There is now the possibility for Inzaghi to rotate his team from match to match, and make substitutions in the physically demanding wingback positions.
That is good news as Inter have two matches right away after the break. They take on Udinese in Serie A this weekend, and then AC Milan in the Coppa Italia next Wednesday.
