Roma boss Ivan Juric spoke to reporters on the eve of the team’s second Europa League fixture of the season vs Elfsborg.
Upon the team landing in Sweden, Juric addressed members of the media to discuss tomorrow’s affair.
“We started badly in the league, but with these two victories we have recovered some ground.”
“We want to do also do well in Europe,” he added. “My intention is to use the squad as much as possible to do the best I can. I want to change a little, but not too much for tomorrow’s match.”
“The idea is to have the ball ourselves, to have possession and move it, the players have these qualities that will enable us to play this way.”
“Honestly I see a huge margin for improvement with this group, lots of potential,” he added.
“Hummels? He arrived later than the others and in that role you cannot afford to make mistakes. Tomorrow we will decide whether to start Dovbyk.”
“Elfsborg? I really like what Oscar is doing. I liked him as a player and now as a coach. They’re a strong, aggressive and direct team, with values and very interesting attackers.”
“Tomorrow will be a battle, we cannot afford to drop our level and underestimate the opponent,” he added.
