Southampton boss Ivan Juric has assured that prodigy Tyler Dibling would stay, at least this year. In addition, the manager clarified his stay amidst Dany Rohl's takeover rumors.
Currently, Southampton's future is in a volatile phase. To the extent, that rumors about a change of managers are again doing the rounds at St. Mary's.
As if it wasn't shocking enough, the Saints might be closer to parting ways with their best player, Tyler Dibling, soon.
Even imagining these two scenarios might give chills to Southampton fans, who already fear a potential relegation this season.
But, thankfully, while such rumors buzz around, these ain't happening at least soon. That is the belief of Southampton boss Ivan Juric, who assured the club fans via his recent media address.
As per the Daily Echo, speaking about Dibling's future at the club, Juric said: "I am pretty sure that I will be coaching Dibling all this year. He is very motivated, like we see in the game. I saw him really focused, concentrated. No problem."
With this message, Ivan Juric has served two purposes with a one-time effort. While the manager passed conviction about Dibling's future to the fans, he also denied any talks of being replaced at the club.
For Southampton fans, the manager's address has certainly come as a relief amidst a challenging season. But while all would be pleased with Dibling's stay, some might critique Juric's continual at the Saints.
However, they need to realise that the side has improved in multiple aspects under boss Ivan Juric.
Brought in to replace Russell Martin's defensive approach, Juric's tactics have enhanced the club's scoring frequency significantly. Further, the club's recent displays instill confidence for a better second half ahead.
As they say, great things take time, and it wouldn't be wise enough for us to decide on Juric this earlier. Having produced key positives, let's hope the manager brings back the good olden days at St. Mary's.
