Things are going from bad to worse for manager Ange Postecoglou and Tottenham Hotspur.

The Lilywhites slumped to a fourth consecutive defeat in the Premier League as Leicester City came from behind to seal a 2-1 win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium yesterday.

Postecoglou’s men were on course for a comfortable home victory when Richarlison opened the scoring just after the half-hour mark.

But the Foxes made a stunning comeback in the second half to turn the game on its head.

Jamie Vardy levelled the scores from close range before Bilal El Khannouss curled in a superb effort from 25 yards in the 50th minute.

Spurs desperately tried to equalise, but Leicester held on to secure an excellent victory to end a run of seven consecutive losses in the English top-flight.

Tottenham have picked up only four points from their last 10 league matches. Despite this, former England international Jamie Redknapp does not think they will be relegated.

Redknapp told Sky Sports: “Right now that’s relegation form. Are they going to be in the relegation fight in the season? Absolutely not – I don’t think that’s going to be the case.

“But I think they are tracking for pretty much a point a game. It is just not good enough.”

Tottenham have suffered a huge injury crisis this season. Dominic Solanke became the latest victim after he sustained a knee issue in training, ruling him out for six weeks.

Spurs are already without Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, Destiny Udogie, Timo Werner, Wilson Odobert, Guglielmo Vicario and Brennan Johnson.

Despite the injury issues, their performances have been awful in recent weeks, and things need to improve.
