Chelsea legend and former club captain John Terry has basically said what many Blues fans are thinking about the lack of success so far.
Chelsea have been through a terrible run of form since Christmas really and so far under the new ownership, have not yet had success.
They did just beat Southampton in their last game though, and Blues fans will be hoping this is the start of the good form again.
The Blues won the game 4-0 in what was a much needed convincing performance, with goals coming from Christopher Nkunku, Pedro Neto, Levi Colwill, and Marc Cucurella.
The Saints were a very poor opposition of course, but Chelsea really needed a big win and a big performance, and that is exactly what they did last night right in the nick of time as they look to keep challenging for that all important Champions League spot.
Neto was superb playing as the number 9 and as well as getting his goal, he has explained why he loves playing as a striker with a hilarious answer!
The obvious problem that so many former Chelsea players, pundits, media, and many fans have pointed out is that this young squad lacks balance and hasn’t got any leaders or real experience.
And Terry agrees.

Terry points towards the age of the squad as a reason for Chelsea’s struggles on a Podcast:
“We’ve shown signs of being a really young squad this season, I say that in terms of the performances where you see a really good spell and then we’ve come off it”
“Even when we started well I thought we’d have a little bit of a drop off and we’ve done that.”
He’s absolutely spot on.
