Kylian Mbappé included in Real Madrid squad for France return | OneFootball

Kylian Mbappé (25) has been included in the Real Madrid squad that will travel to France on Wednesday evening to face Lille OSC in the Champions League after being a doubt due to an injury sustained in the match against Alaves on the 24th of September.

As a quirk of fate, after leaving Paris Saint-Germain in July, Mbappé’s first appearance on French soil as a Real Madrid player will be at the stadium where he made his final appearance for Les Parisiens.

Mbappé’s last match in PSG colours took place in the Stade Pierre-Mauroy where the capital club faced rivals Olympique Lyonnais in the Coupe de France final. PSG would win 2-1 with Mbappé unable to record his name on the scoresheet

Mbappé brothers reunite

The inclusion in the Real Madrid squad also means that Kylian will be reunited with his younger brother Ethan. The younger Mbappé recently returned from injury where he made a substitute appearance in the club’s 3-0 victory over Le Havre AC.

Lille had been on a run of five games without a victory ahead of the visit to Stade Océane. However, that slump would be emphatically ended ahead of the visit from the Champions League title holders.
