Lazio have reportedly raised their offer for Cesare Casadei as they remain keen on sealing the deal before the end of the January transfer session.

The 22-year-old is considered one of the most talented Italian midfielders in his generation, but has been starving for playing time at Stamford Bridge this season, and has yet to make a Premier League appearance this term. However, his has now become the subject of one of the longest transfer sagas of the winter Mercato.

Lazio have seemingly raised the proposed transfer fee, as well as the percentage of the sell-on fee. The ball is now in Chelsea’s court, with the Serie A club waiting for a response in the coming hours.
