Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly one of several clubs, along with Chelsea, Liverpool, and Bayern Munich, keeping an eye on Joao Pedro as the summer transfer window approaches.
Transfer expert Graeme Bailey previously reported in December that those clubs were all monitoring Pedro. Brighton have set a price tag of nearly £100 million for the forward but have no intention of letting him go anytime soon.
With Pedro under contract until 2028, Brighton are in a strong position to negotiate. The Brazilian has featured in 25 matches this season, recording eight goals and seven assists.
Nonetheless, the latest update on this file reveals that Brighton have full control over the situation.

On Monday, TBR Football reported, citing sources, that the Seagulls insist that there is no clause in the deal he signed when he arrived at the club, meaning they have full control over his future.
Brighton sit seventh in the Premier League and have reached the FA Cup quarterfinals as they push to bring European football back to the AMEX Stadium.
Securing a spot in Europe could be key to keeping Pedro long-term, as he aims to compete in the top club competitions.
Pedro’s versatility makes him an appealing option for clubs looking to strengthen their attack. He can play multiple roles across the front line.
This season, the Brazilian has featured as a center forward, a No. 10, and a left winger under Fabian Hurzeler.
