On Saturday, PSG manager Luis Enrique spoke to the media, and he was asked about facing the English side, who are led by fellow Spaniard Unai Emery.

“The draw is what it is,” Enrique said (h/t Paris Fans). “Of course, I know Aston Villa, I’ve watched many matches as a football fan. Now, of course, I will watch them with a different perspective. And when the time comes, we will analyze the challenges posed by this team, one of the best teams in Europe.”

Emery will return to the club he managed from 2016 to 2018, where he won a league title, two Coupe de France trophies, two Coupe de la Ligue trophies, and two Trophée des Champions. After Aston Villa’s win over Club Brugge, the Spanish manager said, “It will be fantastic” to return to Paris.

Meanwhile, Asensio will face the coach who reduced his role this season, leading to his move to Villa Park in the winter transfer window.
