Less than a week after what was a suspected season-ending injury for Corentin Tolisso, the Frenchman is expected to start for Olympique Lyonnais tonight when they face Stade Rennais.
Tolisso was brought off on a stretcher against AS Saint-Étienne last Sunday but he is not only fit enough to be included in Lyon’s matchday squad, he may even be fit enough to start. He could start alongside Nemanja Matić at the base of OL’s midfield. The Serbian is also returning from a short-term injury that saw him miss out on last weekend’s loss to Les Verts.
There is also a return for Lucas Perri. The goalkeeper missed out last weekend as his wife was giving birth in his native Brazil. Perri, however, is now once again available for selection and will start in goal.
