Manchester United are reportedly embroiled in a four-horse race for Deportivo La Coruna winger Yeremay Hernandez.
The Red Devils are keeping an eye on market opportunities, especially with several of their players facing uncertain futures at the club. This includes Marcus Rashford who has been omitted from Ruben Amorim’s plans for weeks, as well as Alejandro Garnacho amidst his complex contract situation.
So according to Fichajes.net, Man Utd are one of four Premier League clubs that are tracking Hernandez who has emerged as one of the revelations of Spain’s second division.

The 22-year-old has been playing a key role in Deprtivo’s promotion push, contributing with seven goals and three assists in his 17 league appearances this season. Therefore, the Spanish club has no intention of depriving itself of the young winger’s services in the middle of the season, so if a suitor wishes to sign him in January, he will likely have to activate his €20-million release clause.
The Spanish source claims that the Red Devils are keeping tabs on the Spain U21 starlet, but so are their rivals Arsenal, Newcastle United and Chelsea.
Hernandez is a right-footed player who usually occupies the left flank before cutting the centre of the pitch, acting as an inverted winger. The report notes that his ability to cause havoc in the final third prompted the growing interest in his services.
At Man Utd, Hernandez would complement Amad Diallo who plays a similar role on the right wing. The latter signed a contract extension with the club on Thursday, thus pushing back the deadline until June 2030, and consolidating his status as an untouchable player at Carrington.
