Huijsen has made significant strides since moving to England, impressing with his defensive consistency in the Premier League. His performances haven’t gone unnoticed, with several top clubs now showing interest.

Journalist Dean Jones reports in his GIVEMESPORT column that Manchester United are keeping an eye on Huijsen as a potential addition to strengthen Ruben Amorim’s defense.

Jones claims that Manchester United will likely explore the center-back market this summer as concerns over their defensive performances grow.

Despite bringing Matthijs de Ligt and Leny Yoro before the season, the club may look for additional reinforcements to bolster Ruben Amorim’s options. Lisandro Martinez is currently sidelined long-term, and Victor Lindelof and Jonny Evans are out of contract this summer.

According to Fichajes, Manchester United and PSG are both interested in the young defender, but they aren’t the only ones in the race.

Meanwhile, Diario AS reported that Manchester United are in the market for center-backs ahead of next season, with Huijsen—who is also on Real Madrid’s radar—among their targets.
