However, things look to be improving for Man City after several top-quality signings in the January transfer window. They beat Plymouth Argyle 3-1 in Saturday’s FA Cup match last weekend to keep alive their hopes of winning silverware this campaign.

Despite the January arrivals, City are focused on improving the squad. The English giants are not only looking for experienced stars, but they are also targeting talented prospects who can slowly integrate into the first-team.

According to The Sun, the defending champions are eyeing a move for Leicester City teenager Jeremy Monga.

The highly-rated winger has just turned 15 but he was part of the Foxes’ first-team bench in their 2-1 loss to Manchester United in the FA Cup last month.

The wonderkid has shown huge development this season. He has impressed with his displays for Leicester’s Under-18s and Under-21s side.

The youngster has made seven appearances in the Premier League 2 this season, scoring once and creating an assist.

Monga’s performances have reportedly caught the attention of some of the best clubs in Europe. But City are hoping to seal a move for him this summer.

It is said that they are ready to go through a tribunal to land the 15-year-old’s services.

Leicester are likely to get relegated to the Championship, but they are desperate to keep hold of the forward.
