According to Fichajes, Manchester City have emerged as one of the clubs keeping a close eye on Rodrygo’s developing situation at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The Premier League giants believe they can lure the Brazilian to the English shores by offering him a starting role at the Etihad Stadium.

Although Rodrygo has greatly struggled this season, he remains a hot prospect in the transfer market due to his undeniable talent and immense potential.

Real Madrid, for their part, value Rodrygo highly despite his struggles this season. As such, the club won’t consider selling him unless the player specifically asks for it.

The report does add that Real Madrid might not be averse to Rodrygo’s exit should they receive a lucrative offer for the Brazilian international.

This makes Rodrygo’s transfer saga all the more important. The player, therefore, will have a decision to make in the coming summer, as he chooses between fighting for a place at Real Madrid or finding a new adventure in England.

It must be noted that Real Madrid are likely to bring in Xabi Alonso as the new manager next summer, which could impact Rodrygo’s role in the side, either positively or negatively.

Therefore, it won’t be surprising to see the Brazilian biding his time and assessing things before taking a decision on his future.
