In a recent report, ESPN mentioned that Manchester United are keeping a keen eye on Crystal Palace playmaker Eberechi Eze. It is believed that the Red Devils are showing interest in recruiting the English attacker in this summer transfer window.
Eze had another impressive campaign at the London club recently as he was responsible for producing a series of productive performances for them in the Premier League. The English talent banged in 14 goals and secured 11 assists in 43 matches for the Eagles this season across all competitions.
The 26-year-old gave a good account of himself in the final third and deserves credit for attempting 3.48 shots per game in the Premier League. However, he could only keep 27% of his shots on target. Eze also needs to work on improving his ball distribution in the final third based on his pass success rate of 74.2% in top-flight football (stats via fbref.com).
Eze is under contract at Crystal Palace until the summer of 2027. Thus, the Red Devils would have to make a convincing offer if they are serious about signing him this off-season.

Eze can shoot the ball with power and precision from long range and has got the vision to engineer a few promising chances for his teammates in and around the opposition penalty area. He is a good dribbler with the ball as well and can contribute by scoring and creating his fair share of goals in the final third.
The English sensation mainly functions as an attacking midfielder but can also operate as a left-sided wide player if needed. He has already proven his worth in the Premier League and won’t take much time to settle into life at Man United.
Eze would undoubtedly enhance the quality of Ruben Amorim’s attack. He is good enough to help the Red Devils get back to challenging for a top-four spot next season.
At 26, Eze has his peak years ahead of him which makes him a brilliant choice for the Mancunian giants to consider in this summer transfer period. Hence, Amorim should focus on trying everything he can to lure him to the Theatre of Dreams soon.
